Biography
When I was five, I painted a masterpiece with really long title. “Girl On A Hill With An Umbrella In The Rain.” It must have been a masterpiece because the school principle had it framed and she hung it up on the wall in her office. Every time I saw it, (which wasn’t too often, since I was a good girl) I was amazed to see my painting.
That was the beginning of my creative life. Presently, I have a third
floor studio with periwinkle walls and a wonderful family. I now give my
art much shorter titles!
I am a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and the illustrator coordinator for the Illustrators Network of SCBWI-Wisconsin.
